Dr Ammara qualified as a Physiotherapist from University of South Asia.She has done with post graduation certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation from UHS. She completed her clinical training in Lahore General Hospital, one of the biggest tertiary care hospitals in Pakistan. She presented a research paper in Pakistan Health Research Council. She is experienced in pediatric, Musculoskeletal and neurological Rehabilitation. She is associated with Physiogic Physiotherapy Clinic as consultant female physiotherapist since 2018. Dr Ammara is an experienced manual therapist using dry needling, taping and exercise to assess, treat and rehabilitate all types of musculoskeletal pain and injuries. She has over 6 years of experience in both public and private settings. She is a women’s health Physiotherapist and expert in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Ammara is experienced in treating a range of pre and postnatal conditions such as back pain, pelvic floor weakness, incontinence and bladder irritation, pelvic pain and abdominal muscle separation at any stage in life. She specially enjoys working with ladies in pregnancy and post-natally; treating pelvic girdle pain, tummy muscle separation (diastasis recti abdominis (DRA)) and pelvic floor dysfunctions including stress urinary incontinence, Urinary frequency, urgency, pelvic organ prolapse and constipation. She has a keen interest in the return to sport and fitness post-natally and rehabilitating women through pelvic floor injury or dysfunction to full fitness.
